Soma Ayurveda Practice

An integrated approach to well-being awaits you
Practical – Holistic – Effective
Everything is secondary to well-being. You might have a vision of what this looks like for you? It could be freedom from chronic fatigue, chronic pain, or digestive issues. Perhaps you need better sleep or more vitality during your day?
Perhaps you would like to lose weight or feel healthy and good in your own skin?
Perhaps you need some relief from chronic anxiety?
I can help you discover a holistic approach that really works for you. I will meet you where you are and walk with you, bringing an integrated touch to this ancient science of healing. Be empowered in your wellness. Ayurveda is a process so it takes time.
Ancient techniques, yogic healing and energy work combined to channel a flow of healing energy that restores and re balances you on every level.
Our body temple invites inner peace. Health brings you into balance with nature – your own nature, Mother Nature and the nature of the Cosmos
Soma applies the principles of Ayurveda and Shamanic Wisdom to healing and rejuvenation practices and therapies. Ayurveda is a 5000 year-old system of natural healing that has its origins in the Vedic culture of India. But it existed orally much longer than this. Both Tibetan medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine have their roots in Ayurveda. Ayurveda arises naturally from Yoga, simply because it has the belief that disease begins in our minds and subtle levels of our awareness.
Much more than a mere system of treating illness, Ayurveda is the science of life and a path of enlightenment (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge). It offers you a body of wisdom designed to help you stay vital while enabling you to realise your full human potential. Vibrant health is seen here as a higher state of consciousness in which we open ourselves to expanded levels of creativity, and well-being.
Put briefly, health is wholeness. In order to heal, we need to restore the memory of wholeness. This restoration must take place physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. A fragmented approach cannot ultimately be complete or successful. True healing requires a holistic understanding that embraces all aspects of our selves. Ayurvedic therapy encompasses the transformation of the mind, body, and spirit.
Ayurveda reminds us that health is the balanced and dynamic integration between our environment, body, mind, and spirit.
Recognising that human beings are part of nature, Ayurveda describes three fundamental energies that govern our inner and outer environments: movement, transformation and structure or holding. We each have a perfect balance that we call our constitution or prakriti (nature). For each element, there is a balanced and an imbalanced expression. When we come into balance with our unique nature, Mother Nature and the nature of the Cosmos, two things emerge – wisdom and abundance.
